JumpSport vs Cellerciser

I Jump Instead 3-15-22 Trophy Body Sally Vlog #11

I own a JumpSport and a Cellerciser, and use them both almost every single day. I'm here to share with you NEW INFORMATION about how they compare, contrast, and what I absolutely love about each one of them.
Disclaimer: This review is based on information coming directly from the JumpSport and Cellercise websites, as well as my own personal experience using them both. My mission here is to help you see how similar these companies are in quality and safety, so you can decide for yourself which is a better fit for you. Rebounding is extremely potent, and needs to be eased into very gently. The up and down motion immediately begins stretching and strengthening our muscles and joints, which can sometimes be too much, too fast for specific body parts. If ever we experience pain when rebounding, we need to STOP jumping, and work our way up slower. Start with 2 minute sessions, 2-3x a day, and see how you feel. Take it very seriously, because old injuries can get exacerbated in the snap of a finger. If we start slowly and build our way up, rebounding can take our health, fitness and flexibility to the highest level. This is why we call rebounding 'The Fountain of Youth."

Price Comparison

Based on the information I gathered, both JumpSport and Cellercise are within the same price range, leading me to believe that unless you're spending hundreds of dollars on a mini trampoline, you're not getting the quality you need to experience all the wonderful benefits rebounding has to offer.

Bungee vs Spring

Both the JumpSport bungees and the Cellerciser springs are excellent quality. Read below to find out what their websites have to say about them, as well as my personal thoughts on the advantages and disadvantages of both.

Website Info

JumpSport (Bungees)

Cellerciser (Springs)

The JumpSport uses a bungee system, delivering the smoothest, deepest, and most supportive low-impact bounce on the market. The bungees are quiet, EnduroLast cords that provide a long lasting cushioned bounce that is customizable to your fitness level or preference. The extended elasticity, combined with the longer length of the EnduroLast Elastic Cords, reduces the stress on the bungee material so the cords last significantly longer than trampolines with lower quality, shorter bungees. When noticeable breakdown of the bungee cords is obvious to the naked eye (depending on usage duration and intensity), they will need to be replaced for as low as $89.
The Cellerciser® uses the patented TriDaptable® spring that offers support, movement, adaptability, and lift. It’s the only self-adjusting spring of its kind, adjusting to the weight of the person using it and to the height that the person is jumping. It stretches from the middle, and the weight is gradually absorbed as needed through the tiered-tapered ends allowing the body to accelerate and decelerate smoothly and safely with added support. The springs do not need to be replaced like other steel springs or bungees. Whether you are 20 lbs, 100 lbs, or 300 lbs, the springs are built to last, and built to perform.

My Personal Thoughts

JumpSport

Cellerciser

The Jumpsport bungee units give us the same euphoric feeling as flying high on an outdoor trampoline. As long as we have the support of an attached handlebar, we can jump high safely, and reap all the benefits of rebounding. If we choose not to jump high, we can still get an incredible, low impact cardio workout just by kicking, punching and dancing around on our JumpSport rebounders. If we're going for the maximum muscle definition, we need to consider incorporating the airborne flex as well. Airborne flexing is when we bounce high on our bungee rebounder while pushing off the handlebar like a push up (never letting go of the handlebar), and find ourselves flexing in the air. The flex happens when we strike a pose at the top of the bounce, giving our muscles a quick squeeze and our joints a quick stretch. Poses like tuck jumps, tuck twists, split jumps and superman activate the entire body including the biceps, triceps, shoulders, forearms, chest, core, back, hips, quads, hamstrings, calves, etc. This could be considered interval training at its absolute best. Only good quality bungee units like the JumpSport allow us to bounce high without too much impact on the joints. Flex posing in the air is basically like doing gymnastics in our very own living room, creating a strong, flexible body that will be able to keep up with our kids and grandkids for life. Whether you're looking to get an exceptional cardio workout, or improve your muscle strength and flexibility, JumpSport will not disappoint.
The Cellerciser spring units give us the fast response time yet gentle impact that is required for safe rebounding. Not all spring rebounders are created equal, but the springs on the Cellerciser are specially designed for maximum safety and support. High jumping is not recommended on the Cellerciser, even though supported high jumping is completely doable. Because the springs used on the Cellerciser offer incredible resistance against every single cell in our entire body, we can use this to our advantage by flexing at the bottom of the bounce, also known as a weighted flex. Adding the extra weight to gravity to our flexed muscles is just the same as doing bicep curls with a dumbbell, except all of our flexed muscles are being worked at the same time as opposed to one isolated muscle group being worked in the case of a bicep curl. This is why rebounding is by far the most superior way to train when it comes to getting the fastest and most sustainable results possible. The weighted flex builds muscles like no other piece of exercise equipment on the market. All we have to do is flex any body part that we want to tone and tighten, and bounce while holding the flex until we can't hold it any longer. Then we rest and repeat. We're basically mimicking reps in the gym, except we're constantly flushing out lactic acid as well as oxygenating our cells with maximum blood flow when we're bouncing. To top it all off, the simple act of bouncing up and down creates incredible flexibility in and around our joints, making it the smartest and safest exercise for any and everybody.

There's always more

If you by chance have a pull-up bar, or would be willing to invest in one simply because they're only like $60, keep reading. Hanging from my pull-up bar has been a game changer for me lately. Not only do I get an incredible shoulder stretch, I also feel a huge relief in my spine, an incredible stretch in my whole core, and a nice, relaxing stretch in my hips, thighs, calves and feet. As you may know I'm running my very first 5k in 7 weeks, and taking the weight off my ankles and knees while stretching as deeply as possible in my hips, thighs and feet has become addicting lately. Running requires excellent posture, so stretching my spine out to the max while hanging from my pull-up bar has become literally euphoric. Running on pavement is not for everyone, but with the help of my JumpSport, Cellerciser and pull-up bar, I believe I can take on this feat with flying colors. Happy Jumping, everyone! Stay safe, keep nose breathing, and live your best life. All the power, all the love.
